The Oskar von Miller Forum offers visiting students attractive accommodation close to the university, an outstanding infrastructure including its own bistro, communal study room and a library/music room. Above-average academic achievements and a high degree of identification with the goals of the Oskar von Miller Forum are prerequisites for acceptance as a visiting student. The common pursuit of professional excellence and greater social competence calls for active participation in the programme of the Oskar von Miller Forum and the willingness to assume responsibility and take on assignments. Through their commitment the students develop leadership and team skills which help to equip them for the future.
Students must be admitted to study at the University. Doctoral students must be registered in the list of doctoral students of one of the two architecture and civil engineering faculties of the TUM. All future guests must firstly have the ambition for excellence in their subject and secondly to consider the objectives of the Forum. Applicants must also be prepared to become involved in the Oskar von Miller Forum in technical and social respects in order to pursue the goals of a shared aspiration to achieve professional and social competence. Apart from becoming actively involved in the Oskar von Miller Forum programme, this also includes assuming responsibility and tasks that support living together in the building.
